33 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food: NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said that 33 ships with petroleum products, food items, and other goods are expected at Apapa, Tin-Can Island, and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos.

The NPA disclosed in its “Daily Shipping Position’ that the vessels are expected from March 2 to 8.

It said that 16 of the expected ships were to berth with different goods, while others were to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, bulk salt, bulk fertiliser, gypsum, bulk sugar, and general cargo.

Meanwhile, the NPA noted that 11 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, awaiting berthing for aviation fuel, petrol, diesel, alkaline, and containers.

It also stated that 17 ships are presently discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk urea, truck cargo, bulk gas, and containers of various goods at Tincan, Apapa, and Lekki ports.
