On Thursday 12 October 2021, Indonesia Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) Lagos as part of its mandate at deepening trade and business relations between Indonesia and Nigeria, organized the TRADE EXPO INDONESIA 2021 BUYERS MOBILIZATION, a virtual event that had four Indonesian manufacturing companies presenting the business opportunities of their products to participating Nigerian buyers. This event was proudly supported by Nigeria – Indonesia Commercial Association (NICA).
Giving his opening remarks, Tamel Vinsen, Minister Counsellor, Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Abuja, gave kudos to ITPC Lagos for organizing the virtual event as the opening of Trade Expo Indonesia 2021 was two week away. He also appreciated the presence of Nigerian buyers and Indonesian manufacturing companies participating, and urged Nigerian buyers to seize the opportunity of the event to understand the format of the 2021 digital edition, as well as register to reap the benefits the annual trade expo Indonesia presents.
Giving his presentation on the Trade Expo Indonesia 2021 Digital Edition – Buyers Mobilization and Invitation, Hendro Jonathan, Director, ITPC Lagos, welcomed Nigerian buyers and Indonesian manufacturers to the auspicious event; throwing more light on the strategic direction of the 2021 digital edition, he said that the expo billed to run from 21 October – 4 November 2021, will showcase numerous carefully-categorized products, encompassing from premium products and services, manufacturing products, furniture and craft products, food and beverage products, fashion, accessories and multi products. He called for early registration from Nigerian buyers and assured them that ITPC Lagos is available to provide all the facilitation support and answers to any and all enquiries they might have. He expressed appreciation to the four Indonesian manufacturing companies that participated and presented their products to Nigerian buyers.
The Nigeria – Indonesia Commercial Association (NICA) as an established partner to ITPC Lagos and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Abuja, provided active support in the successful implementation of this virtual event. As event moderator, Dr. Elvis Enyioko, Executive Secretary, NICA, expressed the continual support of NICA to ITPC Lagos and the Indonesian Embassy, through deepening trade and business ties between Nigeria and Indonesia. He also pledged the commitment of NICA to mobilize Nigerian buyers to the 2021 Trade Expo Indonesia Digital Edition.

The program ended on a very high note, with Nigerian buyers expressing commitment to explore trade opportunities with the products presented, as well as to actively participate in the 2021 digital edition of Trade Expo Indonesia.
