DIPLOMATICINFO.COM has named Roosevelt Ogbonna, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc and Abdulrasheed Bawa, Executive Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as its 2022 Persons of the Year.

The Person of the Year award goes to a person, a group or an idea that have had the most influence in 2022 in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Other finalists included Dr. Ernest Azudialu-Obiejesi, Chairman/CEO of Nestoil; Brig. Gen. MB Marwa (Rtd), Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA); and Ganiyu Musa, Group Managing Director/CEO of Cornerstone Insurance Plc.

In a Nigeria filled with accomplished men and women in various fields of human endeavour, working passionately to build collective wealth and entrench enduring systems of accountability in all leadership portals, the editorial team made its decision as the most appropriate for 2022.

Both recipients are good men, passionate for excellence and shinning examples for all, of what vision, accountability, focus and strategic leadership skills can achieve for organizations.
