Today, Nigerian voters nationwide are trooping to the polls to elect a president for the next four years.

They will also choose Saturday lawmakers to represent them at the National Assembly.

They are gearing up to exercise their franchise from 8:30 a.m. when voting begins, until 2:30 p.m. when ballot areas would be shut to introduce the counting phase.
