BREAKING: INEC Declares LP’s Alex Otti Abia Gov-Elect

Alex Chioma Otti of Labour Party, after days of intrigues, subterfuge and allegations of conspiracy, has this evening being declared winner of Abia State gubernatorial election held on Saturday 18 March 2023.

He pulled a total of 175,467 votes to defeat his closest rival Okey Ahiwe of PDP who got 88,529 votes.

After days of reconciliation and authentication of results for the Obingwa L.G.A, INEC Abia State released the result as below:

Obingwa Results:
APC. 9721
APGA. 1445
LP. 3776
PDP. 9962
YPP. 12

27,664 Accredited voters.

Currently there is jubilation and cries of joy amongst Abias, who had looked forward to a day like this.
