Authorities say suspects plotted acts of sabotage against vital institutions

Morocco said Monday it had dismantled a Daesh/ISIS cell plotting attacks in the North African country.
In a statement, the Interior Ministry’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) said three suspects, aged between 31 and 40, had been arrested in the northern city of Tangier for planning “acts of sabotage against vital and security institutions” in the country.
The BCIJ said the suspects have been put in custody for further investigations to determine the nature of their terrorist projects as well as possible links with other accomplices or cells.
Moroccan authorities said that nearly 200 terrorist cells had been dismantled in the country since 2003.
