‘Stop list’ includes ministers, lawmakers, public figures and journalists, says Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW

Russia said on Tuesday that it has imposed an entry ban on 347 people from Baltic countries, namely Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

A statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the policies of the Baltic states, including their lobbying for implementing sanctions against Moscow, their military support for Ukraine, and the demolition of Soviet monuments, “require retaliatory measures.”

It further said that the “stop list” includes ministers, lawmakers, public figures and journalists from the three countries and can be expanded at any time in the future.

The statement went on to list Baltic officials “most hostile to Russia,” notably including the foreign ministers of the three countries, as well as Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina.
