Bola Tinubu, former Lagos Governor returned to Nigeria on Tuesday amid rumours about his death.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader was reportedly in France for medical care.

The one time Senator is said to be battling ailments associated with old age. He clocked 69 years on March 29.

Tinubu was conspicuously absent when President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge last Thursday.

The politician has travelled out of the country at least three times in the last one year.

Tinubu is believed to be interested in running for presidency in 2023. His loyalists have started subtle campaign and mobilizaton.

They are expected to go on full blast from early 2022 once the Jagaban of Borgu declares his intention.
