TUNIS, July 5 (Xinhua) — For two weeks, Tunisia has been hit by the 4th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen a sharp rise in daily infections and deaths, prompting the government to impose strict measures to tighten anti-pandemic measures since July 1.
In addition to a night curfew, public gatherings such as prayers, celebrations, sporting and cultural events are prohibited until July 14 in the four regions of Greater Tunis. Cafes and restaurants will only take takeaway orders.
