BRUSSELS

Brussels Airlines will not resume flights to and from Tel Aviv before June 22, the company announced Tuesday, citing regional instability.

The Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines, extended the suspension for another week, according to a statement.

The airline confirmed the extension is “due to the current security situation.”

Affected passengers can reschedule their flight or receive a full refund, it said.

The airline said it is closely monitoring developments and will adapt its flight operations accordingly.

The Lufthansa Group includes companies such as Eurowings, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines.

The group suspended flights to Tel Aviv following a ballistic missile attack by the Yemeni Houthi group on the Ben Gurion Airport in Israel.
