UK Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has vowed to imitate U.S. President Donald Trump’s deportation policy upon the party’s return to power.

Ms Badenoch, in a video posted on X, said, “My message is clear: if you’re here illegally, you will be detained and deported.”

“Our new Removals Force, modelled on U.S. ICE, will deport 150,000 illegal migrants each year. Today, I’m launching our Radical Borders Plan, the toughest reforms Britain has ever seen to border laws and operations.”

Ms Badenoch’s threat to deport 150,000 illegal immigrants annually would see a total of 750,000  illegal immigrants deported from the UK in five years if implemented.

Ms Badenoch, 45, who was born Wimbledon, South West London, in 1980 to Nigerian parents, has been vehement in her push for crack down on illegal immigration since she assumed office as leader of the Conservative Party.

A fierce critic of Nigeria, Ms Badenoch lamented widespread corruption in the country and pushing against Nigerian immigrants coming to get UK citizenship.

In January, Ms Badenoch said her push for stringent immigration laws was to prevent Britain from becoming like Nigeria.
