Defending champions Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations alongside Zambia, Egypt and Malawi.

The draws were conducted in Morocco on Thursday, which will be hosting the tournament for the third consecutive time after being previously staged in the North African country in 2022 and 2025.

This tournament will also mark a historic milestone for women’s football in Africa following the expansion of the competition from 12 to 16 teams.

In the other groups, the host Morocco, who lost in the final of the two previous tournaments to South Africa and Nigeria, are in Group A with Algeria, Senegal and Kenya.
