The Tinubu/Dikko Assured, a political movement, has pledged to mobilise members to facilitate the smooth conduct of the ongoing All Progressives Congress membership card renewal and the registration of new members in Katsina LGA.

The TDA coordinator, Ibrahim Khalil-Aminu, on behalf of the group’s chairman, Umar Ahmed-Zayyad, gave the pledge after donating N6 million to the LGA.

The movement, he said, was committed to ensuring the success of the APC at all levels, hence the decision to support the party’s grassroots mobilisation efforts.

He urged party members and prospective members in the area to participate in the exercise.

The coordinator added that the APC remained the only party with the capacity to lead Nigeria towards sustainable development.

Mr Khalil-Aminu further stressed that the movement would continue to support its programmes and activities.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the party, the former deputy governor of the state, Mannir Yakubu, commended the TDA for the gesture.

Represented by the commissioner for water resources, Bishir Gambo-Saulawa, Mr Yakubu assured that party stakeholders in the area would work tirelessly to ensure the success of the exercise.

The APC initiated a nationwide electronic membership registration and revalidation (e-registration) starting in January to update its database ahead of the 2027 elections.
