Governor Uba Sani has been commended for the completion and commissioning of the 23-kilometre road linking Madauchi to Kafanchan via Madakiya in southern part of Kaduna State.

The Principal Partner of Gatekeepers Consult and Walin Moro’a, Samuel Atung (SAN), who gave the commendation, described the road as strategic to the development of Southern Kaduna.

The senior lawyer noted that the road connects several communities in Bajju Chiefdom and provides a vital alternative route to the Zonkwa–Samaru–Kagoro axis.

Mr Atung who made the remarks at ECWA Gospel Church, Majelisa Street, Television, Kaduna, further said that the road has also boosted local commerce by significantly reducing travel time between Kafanchan and Zonkwa.

Appreciating the governor for what he described as landmark projects, Mr Atung appealed to him to rehabilitate the Kafanchan–Kwoi road due to its strategic importance to Southern Kaduna.

Also speaking at the event, the President of the Kaduna State Council of The Boys’ Brigade, Nigeria, Dr. Abraham H. Gaga, praised Governor Uba Sani for his empathy towards the people of the state.

According to him, the Governor Uba Sani administration is the first of its kind in the state where ‘’we are not taken it for granted. We appreciate him.’’
