Mr Balogun started his career as an intern in Warner Brothers Records and successfully grew in his craft, including as executive vice president for RCA Records.
On Monday, Variety reported that Mr Balogun will be the new CEO of Def Jam Records, a 35-year-old American music record label mainly focused on the creation and dissemination of hip hop, pop, and urban music. He will replace Eminem’s prominent manager Paul Rosenberg.

The American-based Nigerian joined his previous label RCA in 2015, where he played a significant role in signing artists like H.E.R, Khalid, SZA, and many more.
However, after Mr Balogun emerged as the top executive at Keep Cool Label, a record label he co-founded with RCA, alongside other executives like Courtney Stewart, Jon Tanners, and Jared Sherman, his fans are now looking forward to his fresh exploits at Def Jam.
