Dangote Refinery announces 18-month programme for graduate trainees

Dangote Refinery has announced its 2026 graduate trainee programme. In a statement, the refinery said it would be an 18-month programme.

“At Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals, we are offering you the opportunity to join our 2026 Graduate Programme, where you will have a chance to learn and grow in a global business environment while supporting the growth of our organisation,” the company stated.

Throughout the 18-month programme, the trainees will be exposed to various functions of refinery operations, gaining hands-on experience and learning from our highly skilled professionals, according to the firm.

“Be prepared to develop your skills, expand your knowledge, and make a true impact in the oil and gas industry,” it stated.

Candidates aged 28 with degrees, HND, and diplomas in sciences and arts are invited to apply for the graduate trainee programme.

Applicants for the technical slot of the graduate trainee programme are required to have a first degree or HND in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, or Biochemistry.

Those applying for a technical support role must have a first degree or an HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering and support graduate trainee applicants must have a degree or diploma in Accounting and Finance, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Law, or Information Technology, the firm stated in its announcement.
