American football star Travis Kelce has described his high-profile, secretive wedding with pop star Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden, in New York, as a “crazy night” and “the best night of my life”.
The three-time Super Bowl winner disclosed this at a press conference on Wednesday, following the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp practice, which marked the tight end’s return for his 14th NFL season.
Mr Kelce said, “It was a fun offseason, man. Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated, and, you know, had fun with us. That’s pretty much all I’m taking away from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.
“It’s kind of cool to be able to, you know, live out my childhood dream of being in that venue and, you know, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.
“I can’t thank the owners of MSG enough for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect. And the AC was cooking, baby. That was the best part.”
The couple, both 36, who made their relationship public in 2024 before getting engaged in August 2025, tied the knot at the iconic venue on July 2 and 3.
However, the ceremony was shrouded in mystery, as no pictures of the event were made public, although the singer’s spokesperson confirmed it in a statement, as did a message displayed on the giant screens at the hall and sports venue.
