Several people were wounded in an explosion near an “old” police complex in northwestern Pakistan on Friday, local media reported.
The explosion was reported during congregational Friday prayers near Police Lines, Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Geo News reported.
It added that the wounded have been transferred to local health facilities for treatment while roads toward the incident site have been closed.
Separately, seven militants were killed by Pakistani security forces in two separate operations in southwestern Balochistan province, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.
