The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says two persons died on Friday in an accident involving a Lexus RX45 Jeep and a Mack truck at Fidiwo on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun, Ahmed Umar, who confirmed the accident to journalists in Abeokuta, said it occured at 3:18 p.m.

He stated that the driver of the jeep marked AKD 405 AQ who was on speed, lost control and collided with the truck with registration number JJJ 532 XM.

The sector commander explained that four people were involved in the accident, but two persons died.

The FRSC boss said that remains of the deceased have been deposited at FOS mortuary, Ipara.

He commiserated with the family of the victims, and advised them to contact FRSC Ogunmakin for more information.
