Governor Umaru Fintiri, on Thursday, handed out 23 brand new 2024 GS8 4WD SUVs to judicial officers in Adamawa.
The governor, in a statement on X, stated that the move was aimed at strengthening the justice system in Adamawa.
“I have today handed over 23 brand new SUVs to our judiciary officers as part of our unwavering commitment to strengthening the justice system in Adamawa State.
“We remain focused on building institutions that work, and a judiciary that delivers justice without fear or favour,” Mr Fintiri said.
Mr Fintiri, during the handover ceremony at the Government House in Yola, said the vehicles were procured to “enhance efficiency and performance” of the judiciary, stressing his administration’s commitment to their welfare.
Receiving the keys for the vehicles on behalf of the judicial officers, the Adamawa chief judge, Justice Hapsat Abdurrahman, commended the governor and promised that judicial officers would not relent in their commitment to delivering justice without fear or favour.
