The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Saturday, debunked the reports in the news that the Nigerian Airforce base Kaduna was attacked Saturday morning by Suspected

In a statement on Saturday afternoon by the NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabwet, described the report as ‘Fake News’, saying ‘there is no truth in the entire report.

“It is entirely false that there was such an attempt on Saturday morning,” the statement said

“Merchants of fake news are at it again. This time around, their focus is on the premier Nigerian Air Force Base at Kaduna, which they claimed came under terrorist attack in the early hours of today, 26 June 2021.

DAILY POST recalls that an online medium on Saturday morning alleged that Boko Haram, an Islamic extremist group had tried to take over the Nigerian Airforce base in Kaduna.

According to the reports: ” An Air Force officer said as early as 6.00am on Saturday, gunfire between the terrorists and military personnel that lasted for close to two hours was ongoing. The terrorists had attacked the base from the back, which is susceptible to attacks”
