President Bola Tinubu has relieved five ministers of their appointment with immediate effect.

The affected ministers include Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye Minister of Women Affairs, Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism, Prof Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development, and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.

The development was confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy on Wednesday.

President Bola Tinubu has relieved five ministers of their appointment with immediate effect.

The President also changed the nomenclature of the Ministry of Niger Delta, renaming it Ministry of Regional
Development.

Recall that Tinubu had threatened to sack some of his ministers found to have under-performed in the last one year since the administration came on board.
