Cotonou, Feb. 15, 2021 – China has granted the Beninese government a 4.2 billion CFA francs support for projects under its action programme, official sources said on Sunday.

The assistance complements Benin’s efforts to mobilize resources needed to carry out projects with high economic and social impact, and it will be spent on projects to be mutually agreed by both parties.

China is one of the first donors to Benin’s plan for prevention and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. (PANA/NAN)
