The NSCDC commandant commended the hunters in fighting bandits, and other criminals across Nigeria, urging them to help tackle criminals in Zamfara.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it needs the Nigerian Hunters’ Council (NHC)’s help to fight criminals in Zamfara.

The civil defence’s Zamfara commandant Athanasius Sparks disclosed this while receiving the hunters led by their leader Suleiman Lawali in Gusau on Tuesday.

Mr Sparks said the NSCDC would ensure that the worsening insecurity bedevilling Zamfara and other parts of the country are curbed.

He urged the hunters to assist the civil defence in intelligence gathering to fight vandals and other crimes in the state.

The NSCDC commandant commended the hunters in fighting bandits, and other criminals across Nigeria, urging them to help tackle criminals in Zamfara.

Earlier, Mr Lawali commended the NSCDC’s fight against vandals and other criminals in the state.

He also solicited support and encouragement from the civil defence.
