The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has designated 20 days to showcase the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the education sector within the territory.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike made this known during the inauguration of the newly constructed engineering infrastructure in Wuye District, Abuja, on Tuesday.

“The unveiling of the projects executed by Tinubu’s administration in the education sector will last for 20 days.

“This will begin immediately after he returns from a short break, after 20 days of inauguration of completed and new projects across the FCT,” he said.

Mr Wike said the goal was to show Nigerians that Mr Tinubu’s administration is not only concentrating on road infrastructure but also focusing on transforming the education sector.

Describing the inauguration of projects across the FCT as “unprecedented,” the minister attributed the feat to Mr Tinubu’s commitment to completing abandoned projects under his Renewed Hope Agenda.

“I challenge critics to name any previous administration that has matched the current pace of transformation under Tinubu’s leadership.

“If there is any administration since the creation of the Federal Capital Territory that has done more than what we are doing, let them speak up now. This is leadership that is committed and leadership that is changing lives,” he said.

The minister pointed out that most of the projects being inaugurated were abandoned since 2009 due to non-payment of contractors.

Also speaking, FCT Minister of State Mariya Mahmoud said the Wuye engineering infrastructure project was a testament to the administration’s resolve to deliver infrastructure that uplifts communities and restores hope.

“With roads being dualised, long-abandoned sites completed, and new facilities springing up across satellite towns, Wike’s message is very clear: that FCT is working again under purposeful and visionary leadership,” she said.
