French President Emmanuel Macron has announced at the Paris Air Show that France, in coordination with Germany and the United Kingdom, has developed a diplomatic proposal designed to de‑escalate rising tensions between Iran and Israel.

Macron stated that French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean‑Noël Barrot will present the proposal to Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during a scheduled meeting in Geneva on June 20, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

“Iran must demonstrate a willingness to join the negotiation platform we are offering,” Macron emphasised.

The trilateral proposal outlines four core objectives:

Restoration of full IAEA access to all Iranian nuclear sites.

A halt to uranium enrichment activities.

Control of Iran’s ballistic missile programme and its support for proxy groups.

Release of foreign nationals currently detained in Iran.

On June 13, the military operation launched by Israel against key components of Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure has escalated to a much harsher level. The objective remains the complete elimination of the Islamic Republic’s capability to develop nuclear weapons.

The Israeli Air Force has struck more than a hundred targets, deploying approximately 200 combat aircraft and over 330 precision-guided munitions, according to official figures. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) emphasises that this is a large-scale, coordinated operation targeting both military facilities and the nuclear programme infrastructure across the entire territory of Iran.
