Governor Ademola Adeleke has appointed Samuel Aina as the new head of service in Osun.

This is contained in a statement by the governor’s spokesman Olawale Rasheed, on Tuesday.

Mr Aina attended the University of Ibadan, where he obtained BSc and MSc degrees in Geography.

He was appointed a permanent secretary in 2012 and was deployed to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Budget, where he served until 2013.

Mr Aina was later deployed to serve as the permanent secretary of the new Ministry of Finance following the creation of the Office of Budget and Economic Development from the former Ministry in 2013.

He served in the finance ministry until 2016.

Mr Aina was later deployed as permanent secretary in charge of the Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building and the Public Service Office in the Office of the Head of Service in 2016.

Mr Adeleke also approved the appointment of Kazeem Akinleye as his chief of staff and Teslim Igbalaye as the secretary to the state government.

The governor said the appointments took immediate effect.
