Governor Ahmed Ododo has pledged to maintain continuous interaction with communities as a core strategy for driving development across the state.
Mr Ododo made the pledge while inspecting a primary healthcare centre project in Agbadu community in the Kabba Bunu LGA on Friday.
The governor, while addressing members of the community, said his allegiance was to the people in the community who had elected him into office.
“I will keep visiting the communities even 1000 times to feel their pulse about my administration and ensure that they get what they want.
“These primary healthcare centres are to ensure that the welfare of our people is well taken care of, and they don’t need to travel to urban centres for medical treatment.
“Our president, Bola Tinubu, introduced these people-oriented programmes and this administration has keyed into it for the good of our people,” he said.
He said that he inspected all the PHCs under construction to ensure they are completed according to specification, equipped, and commissioned before the year comes to a close.
Mr Ododo urged the communities to be wary of criminals and never allow them to live among them, but instead to expose and report them to the constituted authorities.
The governor also inspected the PHC at Ayegunle Igun Bunu community before proceeding to Kabbah on the same mission.
