Unknown gunmen have killed the Senior Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Security, AIG Christopher Dega (Rtd).
DAILY POST gathered that the aide died after being shot on his chest in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
AIG Dega had a brilliant career in the Nigeria Police Force and was twice Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States.
The deceased hailed from Katsina Ala Local Government Area of the state.
When DAILY POST reached Ortom’s Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, he said ” Yes. It’s true.”
