A U.S. based Nigerian, Chinomso Uma Ochie has been arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for sexual offence.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Antonio disclosed the arrest of Mr Ochie in a post on X on Tuesday.

Posting a photo of Mr Ochie, ICE said “sex offender Chinomso Uma Ochie, 31, a citizen of Nigeria,” was “arrested” by its operatives in “San Antonio.”

ICE warned other immigrants against violating the conditions for their admission into the U.S.

“Being allowed to remain in the U.S. is a privilege,” stated ICE. “Anyone who violates the conditions of their admission by committing crimes against children can be arrested and lose their benefits, like sex offender Mr Ochie.”

Mr Ochie’s arrest comes barely a week after a U.S.-based Nigerian, Theophilis Anwana, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for second degree rape amid the President Donald Trump administration’s raid on illegal immigrants and criminals in America.
