The commissioner for internal security, Samuel Peter, finance commissioner, Shizzer Bada and SUBEB chair, Tijjani Abdullahi, are to be arraigned on November 7 before the Code Of Conduct Tribunal.

The Code of Conduct Bureau announced this in a statement.

The three officials were advised to step aside pending the hearing and determination of a motion filed on October 21, and charges brought against them by the CCB.

The statement said the order follows an ex parte application submitted by the CCB regarding allegations of violations of the CCB and Tribunal Act, CAP Cl LYN 2004.

It said that the bureau took action after receiving a petition against some senior Kaduna government officials for various infractions of the Code of Conduct for public officers.

The statement added that following comprehensive investigations, the CCB had approached the tribunal to initiate trials.
