The widow, Sefi Jimoh, was reportedly abducted on a road while waiting for Okada, a commercial motorcycle, to ride home after a morning prayer session at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church at Phase II in Lokoja metropolis.

Ms Jimoh, a mother of four children, works with the Kogi government as an environmental officer and the breadwinner of the family.

The kidnappers on Sunday called the family and demanded N10 million ransom to release her.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-7675530425486834&output=html&h=250&adk=1195394226&adf=4070538680&pi=t.aa~a.412726133~i.10~rp.4&w=360&fwrnh=102&lmt=1652687243&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=9350639259&psa=1&ad_type=text_image&format=360×250&url=https%3A%2F%2Fgazettengr.com%2Fkogi-police-begin-manhunt-for-mfm-members-kidnappers%2F&host=ca-host-pub-2644536267352236&fwr=1&pra=3&rh=247&rw=296&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&fa=27&adsid=ChEI8OyHlAYQlNLHiqb84bDpARI9AGzDQFbhU0XAjh3ZjRPIuay2ZHbGXlha4tnoi7xmzMJfVbBmeWMZMVrhmTY4wL9LcdpRFVfdIg0im9OZDA&uach=WyJBbmRyb2lkIiwiMTIuMC4wIiwiIiwiVEVDTk8gQ0c2IiwiMTAwLjAuNDg5Ni41OCIsW10sbnVsbCxudWxsLCIiLFtbIiBOb3QgQTtCcmFuZCIsIjk5LjAuMC4wIl0sWyJDaHJvbWl1bSIsIjEwMC4wLjQ4OTYuNTgiXSxbIkdvb2dsZSBDaHJvbWUiLCIxMDAuMC40ODk2LjU4Il1dLGZhbHNlXQ..&tt_state=W3siaXNzdWVyT3JpZ2luIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9wYWdlYWQyLmdvb2dsZXN5bmRpY2F0aW9uLmNvbSIsInN0YXRlIjoyMiwiaGFzUmVkZW1wdGlvblJlY29yZCI6dHJ1ZX1d&dt=1652687242899&bpp=8&bdt=1791&idt=-M&shv=r20220511&mjsv=m202205100101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3Da66f10159cee67de-22f03e7eeecc00e9%3AT%3D1636672309%3ART%3D1636672309%3AS%3DALNI_Mag3Olv05Q3qJdHDDhEmLbzNg3wrA&prev_fmts=0x0%2C360x250%2C360x250%2C360x250&nras=5&correlator=7505263115850&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1713490727.1651217078&ga_sid=1652687242&ga_hid=1012317644&ga_fc=1&ga_cid=1375296306.1636672308&u_tz=60&u_his=50&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&u_sd=2&dmc=4&adx=0&ady=2199&biw=360&bih=656&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=44759876%2C44759927%2C44759837%2C31067528%2C21067496&oid=2&pvsid=632597772927050&pem=116&tmod=2134368036&uas=0&nvt=1&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fgazettengr.com%2Fg5-mali-to-quit-sahel-military-alliance%2F&eae=0&fc=1408&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C656%2C360%2C656&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7Cs%7C&abl=NS&fu=128&bc=31&jar=2022-05-14-13&ifi=5&uci=a!5&btvi=3&fsb=1&xpc=JJSncsF0xC&p=https%3A//gazettengr.com&dtd=164

“I hereby order a frantic effort to trace the kidnappers and secure her release as soon as possible. In fact, this effort is being done in conjunction with other security concerns such as hunters and vigilantes, among others, to see that she is released,” said the police commissioner. “Already, some detailed police men had visited the residence of the victim to get more facts about the incident, to boost the success of our investigation.”
