The Ndigbo Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress has extended its condolences to chairman Cornelius Ojelabi on the passing of his wife.

Ebunoluwa Ojelabi reportedly died on Monday.

Ndigbo APC deputy leader in Lagos, Jude Idimogu, in a statement on Wednesday, described her death as heartbreaking.

Mr Idimogu, a former two-term Lagos lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency I, said, “Your wife must have stood by you through thick and thin over the years. At this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of our party’s state chairman and the entire Ojelabi family.”

The politician added, “The loss of a beloved spouse or any loved one is always painful and heartbreaking. We take this moment to commiserate with our party chairman over this tragic loss.

“We pray that God grants the family and the APC the strength to bear this irreparable loss. Our condolences go to you, your family, and the entire Lagos APC.”
