The duo of Toheeb Jimoh 26 and Habeeb Ishola 35 have been arrested by policemen attached to the Lagos state police command over alleged theft of a vehicle said to belong to the United States of America Embassy in Lagos.
Benjamin Hundeyin the spokesperson for the Lagos state police command said ” We got report that a truck conveying a brand new Nissan Rogue belonging to the US Embassy was driven away from where it was parked. We deployed our intelligence assets and after diligent investigation, the truck was recovered and two suspects were arrested.
They were arrested while negotiating to sell the whole truck and its content for N5million. The truck is presently at the State Headquarters, Ikeja”.
