An Ilorin-based legal practitioner, Bello Sulaiman, has advised youths to be patriotic and to put Nigeria first in all situations.

Mr Sulaiman gave the advice in Ilorin on Saturday during an interview with journalists encouraging youths to stand positively for the country rather than condemn it.

According to him, many youths are no longer proud of the country due to the challenges it is facing.

“This is not the time to hate Nigeria. We need to keep the faith alive and defend our country, no matter the situation.

“Youths must be patriotic and not be weighed down by the country’s present circumstances.

“It is only a matter of time; everything will become history, and the country will experience a fresh air of greatness,” he said.

The legal practitioner, who noted that every country experiences challenges on its path to greatness, said Nigeria would survive its trying moments.

He advised youths not to be discouraged but to remain committed to serving the country without hatred.
