Anambra’s first lady, Nonye Soludo, has stated that the current administration prioritises quality education for all children, regardless of their background.
Mrs Soludo made the statement on Monday while reacting to the state being recognised as the 2024 Best Branch at the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria competition, held in Abeokuta, Ogun.
The 65th National Conference of STAN brought together science educators, researchers, policymakers, and young innovators from across the country, with the Anambra branch emerging as the overall winner.
Mrs Soludo said that the state had been making significant investments in quality and all-inclusive education while also addressing the most critical needs of the sector.
According to her, the vision is simple: no Anambra child whose dream is to excel in the classroom should ever be deprived of a chance to have that lifetime opportunity.
She congratulated the STAN Anambra branch on the victory.
“I’m super pleased to learn that Anambra won a big one at the 65th STAN annual conference. Winning the Best Branch of the Year 2024 means that we are still walking on the right path.
“I have often maintained that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration is deeply intentional about visions, targets, and goals,” she stated.
