Tanko also called on any member of the movement who aspires to contest, vote or be voted for in the 2027 general election to ensure they complete their online registration with the coalition party.
Also addressing the issues surrounding the party’s congresses, Tanko said the ADC will end the registration process on March 16, and will only submit name which appear on its register as of the deadline to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as eligible voters.
“Therefore, you are strongly advised to complete your online registration on or before 14th March 2026, as printing of the register will commence on 15th March 2026.
“If you are interested in contesting either at the congresses or during the primary elections, kindly ensure that many of your supporters also register online, so they can participate and vote for you,” the movement said.
It added, “Regarding the primary elections, the register is expected to close around 13th or 14th April 2026, accordingly. Kindly register online. Thank you.”
