Ogun, Cross River, Ekiti, Gombe, and Kwara received the least federal allocation from the federal government between January and June 2024, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The data revealed that within the period in review, Ogun received the least allocation of N40 billion, Cross River got N40.1 billion, Ekiti was given N42.3 billion, Gombe had N42.8 billion, and Kwara got N44.3 billion.

The five states that received the highest allocations in the first six months of 2024 are Delta (N260.7 billion), Rivers (N197.2 billion), Akwa Ibom (N179.1 billion), Lagos (N161.1 billion) and Bayelsa (N157.7 billion).
