The APC leader alleged that people were being recruited to frustrate his, and Yorubas, quest but he remained undaunted.

Presidential aspirant Bola Tinubu says he is ready to do whatever is needed to achieve his “lifelong ambition” to become Nigeria’s president.

“I’m out to become President of Nigeria. No intimidation, no blackmail can stop me,” Mr Tinubu said during a visit to Olubadan-designate, Lekan Balogun, in Ibadan on Sunday.

“I have read about a Greek Philosopher that if you want to fight a pig, you must be ready to be smeared and I’m ready to be dirty,” he said.

The APC leader alleged that people were being recruited to frustrate his, and Yorubas, quest but he remained undaunted.

“Each time a Yoruba wants to be president, issues are raised, questions are asked and all sorts of hang-up are encountered.

“We are at a crossroad, people are volunteering to confront me when they were asked that who would confront the Lion of Bourdilon,” he said.

Mr Tinubu sought the prayers and support of the traditional ruler.

“I am here to inform our fathers of my decision to run for the position of the President of this country in 2023. What I need from our highly reverred traditional rulers are their prayers and cooperation,” he said.

Mr Tinubu has trudged on with his campaign despite concerns about his frail health and corruption baggage.

Last week, Peoples Gazette published a video revealing Mr Tinubu’s cloth soaked from behind, suggesting he is suffering from urinary incontinence. The viral video elicited queries from Nigerians on whether he is fit to run the affairs of Africa’s most populous country.

The Gazette had also published a series of damning reports on Mr Tinubu’s corrupt enrichment via questionable Lagos tax administration through Alpha Beta.

The newspaper also uncovered how Mr Tinubu’s Alpha Beta siphoned billions to shell companies.
