The Israeli Defense Forces have announced the elimination of seven top officials of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s regime in deadly strikes on Saturday.

“IAF fighter jets precisely struck military targets across Iran, eliminating seven senior officials of the Iranian Defence Leadership,” the IDF said in a statement on X on Saturday.

The Iranian regime officials killed in the Saturday strikes include “Ali Shamkhani, Mohammad Pakpour, Saleh Asadi, Mohammad Shirazi, Aziz Nasirzadeh, Hossein Jabal Amelian, and Reza Mozaffari-Nia.”

“The world is a better place without them,” the IDF said.

Mr Shamkhani was a top adviser to Mr Khamenei, while Mr Pakpour was Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Mr Asadi was the chief of intelligence in Iran’s military emergency headquarters and the senior intelligence officer of Iran’s armed forces’ general staff.

Mr Shirazi was the chief of Mr Khamenei’s military bureau since 1989, while Mr Nasirzadeh was Iran’s minister of defence.

Mr Jabal-Amelian, chairman of the SPND (Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research), and Mr Mozafari-Nia, a former chairman of SPND.

Mr Khamenei was reportedly killed in Saturday’s airstrikes coordinated by U.S and Israeli forces.
