Chukwuemeka Agbata, managing director of Anambra Information Communication Technology (ICT) Agency, says Gov. Chukwuma Soludo has made good his promise to transform Anambra into Nigeria’s digital and creative capital.
Mr Agbata, the convener of the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), stated this in Awka on Saturday.
He said Mr Soludo, in his manifesto, pledged deliberate investments in infrastructure, digital skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, social development, and economic transformation through technology and the creative economy.
Mr Agbata said the bold decisions, such as the waiver of right-of-way fees, have already unlocked broadband expansion, boosted digital capacity, and laid the foundation for a vibrant digital economy.
“With another four years, these gains will not only be deepened but will firmly position Anambra as Nigeria’s hub for digital innovation and the creative economy,” he said.
Mr Agbata said GEFAS, as a group, remained committed to the re-election bid of Soludo and would continue to spread the message to the people to reinforce their belief in the state’s digital future.
“With Governor Soludo, the digital promise is real. Solution continues, and Anambra is rising,” he said.
