Text: Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
As we gather today in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I want to remind you that in a world filled with chaos, uncertainty, and darkness, there is only one hope for mankind. That hope is not in earthly royalties, rulers, heads of state, or governments. It is not in wealth, power, or fame. The only hope for mankind is in the name of Jesus Christ.
In a world where many are troubled, persecuted, famished, sick, and alienated, Jesus Christ stands as the only beacon of hope. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. He is the one who holds all things together, and without Him, nothing was made that was made (John 1:3).
Jesus Christ is perfectly in control of the affairs of men. He is the one who sits on the throne, and all earthly royalties, rulers, heads of state, and governments are answerable to Him. They must bow down at His feet, for He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16).
To those who are troubled, persecuted, famished, sick, and alienated, I want to tell you that there is hope in Jesus Christ. He is the one who came to give you life, and life more abundantly (John 10:10). He is the one who can heal your sickness, deliver you from oppression, and give you peace in the midst of turmoil.
But, my dear friends, this hope is not found in any other name. There is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can find salvation, deliverance, and hope.
So, I urge you today to warmly embrace Jesus Christ. Come to Him, all you who are weary and burdened, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). He is the only hope for mankind, and He is waiting for you with open arms.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today, acknowledging that Jesus Christ is the only hope for mankind. We pray for those who are troubled, persecuted, famished, sick, and alienated, that they may find hope and salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for our leaders, that they may acknowledge the sovereignty of Jesus Christ and bow down at His feet. We pray for ourselves, that we may warmly embrace Jesus Christ and find rest in Him.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you, and may you find hope and salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.
