Governor Ahmed Ododo has called on Nigerians to throw their weight behind President Bola Tinubu in 2025. He encouraged them to remain rock-solid behind his vision and bold initiatives, which Mr Ododo believes will yield more fruits in 2025 and beyond.

The Kogi governor stated this in his New Year message.

“Our president is a blessing to our nation at a time like this that will need bold, courageous, creative and a forward-thinking leader,” he said.

Mr Ododo also called on Kogi residents to step into 2025 with renewed hope and a shared purpose toward a better, more qualitative life.

In his New Year message on Tuesday, the governor emphasised that 2025 is not just another page in the calendar.

According to him, the new year is a renewed opportunity for all to deepen collective resolve to build a Kogi that is stronger, more united, and more prosperous.

He expressed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people, acknowledging their significant strides together in the past year.

The governor attributed their successes to the residents’ unwavering support, resilience, and contributions.

Mr Ododo reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a state where development, innovation, and inclusivity thrive.

“As we stand on the threshold of a New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to each and every one of you,” he said.

Mr Ododo outlined his vision for 2025: to deliver impactful projects and enhance opportunities for youth, including empowering women and ensuring that every community feels the positive impact of governance.

“Together, we will tackle challenges with courage and determination, knowing that our unity is our greatest strength,” said the Kogi governor.

The governor also urged residents to “step into 2025 with renewed hope and shared purpose” and prayed for “abundant blessings to all homes, prosperity to the land, and continued progress for Kogi” in the new year.

Mr Ododo also urged residents to remain steadfast in supporting one another and contributing to the state’s growth and development.
