Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk extended his unbeaten career record to 24 fights, knocking out Daniel Dubois of the United Kingdom to win the unified heavyweight title belts in London on Sunday morning.

The win saw the Ukrainian deliver a fifth-round knockout at London’s Wembley Stadium, adding the IBF belt to his WBA, WBC, and WBO belts.

Punch for punch, Usyk dominated the fight from the start before dropping Dubois to the canvas in the fifth round.

Usyk’s trademark left hook ended the fight as Dubois could not recover from the punch within the stipulated time.

Sunday’s victory was the second time Usyk defeated Dubois. First was in 2023, when he defeated the Briton in the ninth round in Kraków, Poland.

After the fight, Usyk, 38, ruled out retirement, saying, “Thirty-eight is a young guy, remember. Thirty-eight is only [the] start.”

Dropping to his knees in celebration, Usyk said, “I want to say thank you to Jesus Christ. I want to say thank you to my team and Wembley, thank you so much! It’s for the people. Nothing is next. It’s enough, next, I don’t know.

“I want to rest. My family, my wife, my children, I want to rest now. Two or three months, I want to just rest.”
