Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the confirmation of eight acting directors for the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) as substantive directors.

The executive secretary, FCDA, Shehu Ahmad, announced the confirmation in a statement on Monday.

Mr Ahmad identified those promoted as Jatto Abdulkareem, director, engineering infrastructure rehabilitation; Nasiru Suleiman, director, resettlement and compensation and Richard Dauda, director, engineering services.

Others are Charity Olla, director, surveying and mapping; Yakubu Abubakar, director, legal services; Abdulrahim Zulqarnain, director, engineering design and evaluation; Hassan Musa, director, public building and Maryam Ameh, director, internal audit.

“The management and staff of the FCDA express their profound gratitude and appreciation to the FCT minister for the approval.

“This will go a long way in boosting the morale of the beneficiaries and improve their productivity, which is one of the cardinal objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration,” he said in the statement.
