The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, following the fallout from a court ruling that nullified the party’s 2025 national convention.

The meeting comes after the Court of Appeal upheld an earlier judgment invalidating the PDP’s National Convention held in Ibadan on November 15 and 16, 2025.

A notice signed by BoT Chairman Mao Ohuabunwa and obtained by our correspondent stated that the meeting will commence at 2:00 pm at 1 Sabo Ago Street, LifeCamp, Abuja.

“This serves to formally invite all members of the Board of Trustees of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, to a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2 pm. Venue is 1, Sabo Ago Street, LifeCamp, Abuja,” the notice read.

Ohuabunwa said the meeting is convened by the BoT and is recognised by the party’s caretaker leadership.

“Note that this is the only BoT recognised as constituted by the Abdulrahman/Anyanwu-led National Caretaker Working Committee pursuant to the Federal High Court decision and ratified by the Court of Appeal in Abuja,” he said.

He also cautioned members against responding to any other invitations.

“Kindly ignore any other notice purporting to call for a meeting of the BoT,” the notice added.

The BoT chairman emphasised that attendance would be strictly limited to properly notified board members and advised non-members to stay away from the venue.
