During Barcelona’s draw with Alaves, Aguero had undergone series of Cardiac tests for pains in his chest from jumping.

Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero is set to be ruled out of action for the La Liga giant for three months after suffering heart arrhythmia.

This is coming after Aguero had undergone series of Cardiac tests for pains in his chest from jumping for the ball up against Alaves defender Victor Laguardia in the first half of their 1-1 draw on Saturday night.

“The player (Aguero) has undergone a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Doctor Josep Brugada and will be out of action during the next three months as the effectiveness of treatment is evaluated,” according to a statement by Barcelona FC.

During the Saturday match with Alaves, the incident caused Aguero to be immediately taken to the hospital for medical care, and replaced by Phillipe Coutinho.

The Argentine striker however confirmed on Monday night that he was feeling better.
