Troops of ‘Operation Safe Haven’ said it arrested nine suspects in connection with the deadly attack in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan made this known in a statement on Wednesday, NAN reports.
Aruwan recalled that armed bandits carried out an attack on the village late on Sunday.
According to him, the attack left five people dead with many injured.
“The nine suspects were apprehended, after continuous tracking by the troops.
“We also recovered an assortment of weapons from the group.
“Currently, they have been handed over to the Police for investigation,” he said.
