Grange School has reopened after being shut down amid an explosion threat.

The school confirmed its reopening to Peoples Gazette on Monday.

“We’re in school today. Nothing was found on the premises,” Idowu Ofili, an employee at Grange School’s admission office, told The Gazette on Monday.

Another employee at Grange’s secondary school section added, “Yes, we are at work. We all came, we’re in school. Everything is resolved. There’s no problem. We’re in session. The school is on. There’s no problem.

The Gazette reported on Thursday that threats of explosions were issued against Grange and Avi-Cenna schools in Lagos, prompting the educational facilities to announce immediate shutdowns.

Later, the police commissioner in Lagos, Olohundare Jimoh, declared both schools safe for continued academic and administrative activities.
