At least 205 Nigerians were among 10,607 illegal immigrants deported from Canada in June 2026 based on official immigration removal statistics.
Data from Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) showed that Nigeria rank among top 10 illegal immigrants deported from Canada in June.
Out of a total of 10,607 illegal immigrants deported from Canada in June, Nigeria constituted almost 2 per cent.
Among the illegal immigrants removed from Canada are 3,323 Indians, 1,573 Mexicans, and 372 Americans.
Others illegal immigrants deported from the maple country in the month include 354 Colombians and 293 Romians. Bangladesh and Pakistan have 227 and 207 among the deportees respectively.
Commenting on the enforced removals, the CBSA said, “Removing individuals who do not have the right to enter or stay in Canada is essential to maintaining the integrity of Canada’s immigration program and to ensuring fairness for those who come to this country lawfully.”
